The ECOSLC Sustainability Report 2023 describes the introduction outside Europe of EcoPorts, the environmental management system and standard dedicated for ports and terminals.

At this moment ports and terminals from all continents participate in the global Network of EcoPorts PERS Certified ports. The initiative and development of EcoPorts is a bottom-up initiative from ports in Europe.

ECOSLC Foundation started introduction of the system in ports and terminals outside Europe.

This report presents first results in a period of change and dynamic transition of ports that widen their approach from environmental management to sustainable management of port, transport and logistics. This combines economic, environmental and social aspects.
